Sac and for several years was selected for their Repertory Dance Company under the direction of Lee Martino and Amy Nakamura. She performed at the American College Dance Association (ACDFA) where she received feedback from prestigious judges and mentors. As a working dancer, she has had the opportunity to share the stage with artists such as Jennifer Holiday, Rogelio Douglas Jr. and Obba Babatundé. In 2016 Courtney won first place and crowd favorite with her hip hop crew at World of Dance Los Angeles. When teaching, she prides herself on creating a safe space for her dancers to feel encouraged. She provides a positive environment while helping students improve and blossom into the best versions of themselves. When Courtney is not dancing she is spending time with her husband and two boys. She loves going to Target, Disneyland and usually has coffee in hand.

My Junior year I transferred to California State University, Fullerton which I attended my last two years of school. In May 2022, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations.
On my free time, I like to go to Country concerts/ line dancing, go on trips, go to the movies, and anything fun!
I’m very excited to be apart of Studio M Collective and can’t wait to see the growth of all the dancers!

Julie likes to say that she was blessed with two left feet! However, she loves dance and
especially loves watching people express themselves through their art. You may even catch her peeping through the window, wishing that she could move like the dancers at Studio M.
When she is not at the studio, Julie enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and reading.
Julie looks forward to getting to know the students at Studio M Dance Collective and getting to witness their dancing journeys.
